This is my mate on my horse Jay in the bareback cutout competition in the chinchilla campdraft 2011.
So the goal was to cut out cattle from the mob without a saddle which is kinda challenging riding. There were only very advanced horses and little Jay but for his first time in a competition like that he did well I think. Thanks to my mate too, for riding him! Was good fun!
This video explains and shows how to teach a horse to step into a bucket or tyre. Horse Trick Training is not only a lot of fun but it is also very useful...to gain new skills, to gain confidence, to create a deep bonding and understanding between you and your pony and of course to show off some cool tricks to your friends :-)
