It was impossible to turn in a circle because I was in the forest with trees all around me and not enough open space so I had to let her gallop until we came out of the forrest.

Roger galloping in slow motion. Roger is a 17 year old Connemara x pony who i've owned for over 6 years. For those of you asking how fast he gallops we timed him on a 100m stretch - he did it in 8.8 seconds which works out at around 40mph. My friend videoed this on his LG Vision phone which has a slow motion setting.
