People like you are just unwilling to change.
If you cannot ride without tack, you abuse your tack. Because apparently you cannot control your horse? tackless, which means you have to rely on a painful bit every time you try to stop your horse. I recommend you watch a video about the effects of bit on a horses mouth. Or better: put a bit in your own mouth, close your eyes, and ask a friend to steer you around with it.
Beautiful second ... By: santosbecks. on 21 May 12, 12:52:50 Beautiful second part, such rapport between horse and rider ^_^
For all? the arguing people out there, stop jumping to conclusions, you don't have to be so one sided!
I ride my mare in a snaffle, bitless bridle, bridleless or in a headcollar. She goes happily any which way as long as I ride with respect and keep her trust. I use a combination of traditional and natural training methods depending on the situation.
It's? as much about the rider/trainer as it is the tack or bit...

By: Mazapagon. on 12 May 12, 21:19:40 Yes, he is, He's selling a method that doesn't necessarily work in real life, and this video is making out all tack to be some sort of torture device to sway the opinions of people who know little about horsemanship. Even Monty Roberts, one of the better known horse whisperers out there has stated that not all horses respond well to this method, and he's had extensive experience and can tell which horses will respond well? and which ones will not.

By: SpiritedSpurs19934. on 04 May 12, 11:52:26 If everyone thought that tack was cruel and had to ride like this A LOT of horses would end up put to sleep and that is much more cruel in my eyes. Every horse person would dream or riding there horse bareback, bridleless along some fairy tale beach. If your truly are a horse person you would know EVERY horse is different, and like some people refuse to co operate, so do horses. Some horses can't be ridden like this! LOL.. Well, a lot ... By: FreeRangerTube. on 29 Apr 12, 19:22:53 LOL.. Well, a lot of tack and its usage IS evil and painful, no matter how? light a rider is on the hand; it's designed to inflict pain when no pain is needed, only a firm, loving hand, literally. I hope you get your own horse, and that it's the right horse for you..
