my? main advice is accurate figures/geometry and FORWARD FORWARD FORWARD. Impulsion and willingness to go forward is key especially at1st level because it is the first REAL level of dressage.

so that leaves me about umm..... five days and im jest doing the test im so scared and i cant really sit trot lol cuz i havnt ridin like forever but for my place they call the course out when you ride so that makes me a little better :]

But hey, he was SO amazing for being a young, green five year old QUARTER HORSE showing against seasoned warmbloods.

My 'suggentions' would be to ride him a bit more forward and quiet your lower leg.
Your leg bumps (nags) with every stride and is distracting to watch. Your tendecy is to grip with your lower legs, riding without stirrups will help with that. I know because I do the? same thing. =) You two look nice together and I love the song!
