Her balance is ... By: Live4himtoday. on 06 May 12, 23:21:54 Her balance is great, but maybe for a gymnastic line like that, lower the fences just a tad or separate the fended a little more. The reason I think this is because the fences were so close and she's so big that she didn't have enough? time to land her hind legs before she went up again, so in result she was coming down too soon, which just happend to be on the fences.

what? i agree a ... By: horseluvor4. on 05 Aug 10, 13:52:07 what? i agree a begginner shouldnt do this ALONE but a gymnastic line is? very very helpful for teaching someone to jump. it teaches control and teaches them to sit after a jump and prepare for the next of course the jumps would be tiny X's but still it is a good way to teach a beginner
I think this is ... By: aleji24. on 18 Jul 10, 01:53:24 I think this is very helpful but people shouldnt follow this at home. Even if she doing well she is not? an experienced teacher and lessons like this can be dangerous. If you alredy know how to jump this can give you nice ideas but if you are learning its better to find a barn or a riding club to learn properly.

No offence, but ... By: XCaliBearsX. on 22 May 11, 11:10:31 No offence, but that sucked..
To both jumps you? had no rhythm so the horse couldnt jump the fences balanced and neat.
the first one the horse put in half strides because you didn't have any impultion
the sencond time you were holding onto her mouth.
so you didnt get any nice jumps.
learn before you try to 'help' others!
i am not at all saying how i have said is right, but it works better then this. canter is better, but you want a nice bouncy canter in a stable rhythm.

She is showing how ... By: gwenybear7. on 27 Mar 10, 04:02:11 She is showing how to do a gymnastic bounce. You can trot or canter them depending on what you are trying to accomplish. ? They are that close together because there is no stride in between, just a landing and a take off. (That's the idea).
Also - at no point does she "flop" on her horse's back. AND - to be technically correct, you should jump the x to the vertical. While you can jump it the other way it is not correct.
