Here is another Equestrian Neightion video showing how to untack a horse. You would untack a horse or pony in the inverse order of how you tacked up: take off the bridle first, then the saddle. Safety first! Make sure you are in a cross tie area or a stall to ensure a safe environment for yourself and your horse.

Oliver never mugs me and is very polite. you can't hear in the video, but I make a clicking noise when he does something right and then he gets his treat. If you would like more information, I would check out clicker training on the web. This is a very positive and science based training method and creates a wonderful relationship.
