It saved without my commentry lol Basically...Well this is what she was like for about 6 months when I first bought her. It was a stay away show and for some reason she was just extremely unsettled. Not in pain, just being a mare! Once she got going she went lovely (as you can see!)

I wouldn't hit him on his back, cause that will provoke the bucking. But you could have hit his shoulder. But it's always easy to give advise if you're not on the same place as the rider is :-)
