Both are lovely and have bright futures ahead of them... I would love to have? my own property and do it full time, rescuing and rehabilitating racehorses.
I think everyone deserves a second chance :) xx

This would also help raise awareness of your rescue and help to bring in donations, funding from the show, and most importantly, maybe help some of your horses find good homes so more of the needy horses can be placed with you. Even if this is not something you can do, thank you for your time, thoughts, and any suggestions you may have.

I wanted to suggest to AP that they should instead air a show about the horses and not the jockeys (as it is ANIMAL Planet). I can not make show suggestions though bc I am not a production co. So I thought that maybe if you or someone you knew, knew someone in the production co. that that someone could ask the production co. to suggest this. Perhaps you could even use YOUR farm in the show to..

They are not to drag the head in, but through LIGHT use of the draw reins they can help maintain the frame and lift the back. but yes? if you apply pressure and not use your legs and seat as one, this is what you will get.

Naturally in English, they're not practical (or rarely used, as they're more of a western training aid)..so im not surprised shes giving them a bad name. A calm horse will react to draw reins correctly, obviously this mare isn't ready for them and needs? more ground work and sacking out. If not abused, Draw reins are a great tool.
