Also, you will notice that the horse's hindquarters are not engaged and "left behind" This is because the horse is working completely off the bit and isn't properly? rounded out. Only his head and neck is, not his back leading back to the haunches.

In Rollkur, the horse's head is behind the line. In some severe cases, the horses nose is touching it's chest. Sometimes the horses head is on the vertical, but an easy way to spot if a rider is using Rollkur is if? the horse's pole is not the highest point. If a horse is in Rollkur, a few vertebrae back will be the highest point. One other way is
