I want to ride western, but my cob is really short backed and its a struggle to find a saddle that fits us both!? Though being overweight (working on it) wither less, and short backed makes fitting any saddle challenging. :D

I am just starting ... By: sailhobiecat. on 18 May 11, 15:11:10 I am just starting to try and ride my horse with less and less tack. We're good with bareback and just getting there without using the reins. I have no problem going up the paces - it is just coming back down that's difficult (especially canter back to trot)! My horse understands when I'm asking for walk (but doesn't always? obey...) Beautiful and inspiring video :D

My recomamendation start of with a western saddle there easier to handle then english. Then when ur better expireanced then go on to english. But make sure you be carfull cuz? if ur horse jumps the wrong way then u and ur horse can end up breaking something very important.

The horse is ... By: Apsenniel09. on 29 Mar 12, 12:03:20 The horse is getting frustrated at the poultice! Love him using the other hoof to try to get it off. We also used to use elastoplast around the top to keep it on. Plus we mostly used it on foals, so with their tiny hooves, it would sometimes just slip? right off unless we used the elastoplast.
Another important ... By: BarrelsPolesandJack. on 04 Oct 10, 20:36:09 Another important thing is you should only use 3M vetrap, the product that's advertised on here. I've found that off-brands of vetwrap? are, to be frank, a piece of crap and won't hold very well due to the lack of quality in the product.
