Also, you will notice that the horse's hindquarters are not engaged and "left behind" This is because the horse is working completely off the bit and isn't properly rounded out. Only his head and neck is, not his back leading back to the haunches.

In Rollkur, the horse's head is behind the line. In some severe cases, the horses nose is touching it's chest. Sometimes the horses head is on the vertical, but an easy way to spot if a rider is using Rollkur is if the horse's pole is not the highest point. If a horse is in Rollkur, a few vertebrae back will be the highest point. One other way is

(officiall definition defined as "flexion of the horse's neck achieved through aggressive force" and is banned by the world governing body, the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI).[1][2] The FEI recognises a distinction between rollkur and the riding of the horse in a deep outline not achieved by? force.[1] it can also be very painful for the horse. hope this helps!

that the rider will lean WAY back instead of sitting up straight. Also, you will notice that the horse's hindquarters are not engaged and "left behind" This is because the horse is working completely off the bit and isn't properly rounded out. Only his head and neck is, not his back leading back to the haunches. that is the gist of it anyways, there are loads of videos on youtube? if you want to know more (-: hope that helped anyways haha

Its? supposidly a "training method" but I am not a fan of it. Properly, a horse's head should be on or just above the vertical line. In Rollkur, the horse's head is behind the line. In some severe cases, the horses nose is touching it's chest. Sometimes the horses head is on the vertical, but an easy way to spot if a rider is using Rollkur is if the horse's pole is not the highest point. If a horse is in Rollkur, a few vertebrae back will be the highest point. One other way is
