By: LilSkids462. on 25 May 11, 06:11:07 aw... i miss taking the horses out to play in the ponds, it is always a blast for everyone (included the horses). by reading some of these previous comments, i guess it just still amazes me on how? nieve some ppl are on the fact that for the most part all horses like or even love the water. i think i know of only one or two that arent too thrilled about it but they'll still go in and cool off. plus swimming is excellent exercise for them, just like it is for us. how is that so hard to understand?

Seriously if it WAS torture, the horse would let that one person know by either pinning his ears back or DOING something about it. It's hard to stay in gallop or even trot so I? use blunt spurs and it's like magic, I am careful but he listens extrem exactly to what I want. It's amazing. He's 24 and started in versatility tournaments in M and stays most of the time on the coupler. His owner said maybe that's the reason why he's a bit "hardy" for assistances.
