Everything about western riding was made to be useful so no we didn't need to make a saddle easy to jump in and to make our horse prance around like dressage.

If I said western wasn't excting I'll admit I was in the wrong. My OWN opinion is english riding poses more of a challenge and it's more exciting. I have ridden with tons of trainers and seen tons of english horses ridden. I've never seen their head forced high so please explain that better. I've only seen them collected or at a natural position.

Raw footage. Ok so... this was trying out a new horse. I had never ridden her before today, I was simply exercising her and having fun while home from college. My riding wasn't fantastic but she is such a fun horse. My canter wasn't even great, but as I said, it was just a relax day - play with the horse. My canter has improved since then!
