It makes me sick seeing them starved and beaten. I used to ride a horse named Marley who had been starved. He was nothing but skin stretched over bones and tried to reach grass on the other side of the fence. His fence was barbed wire, and he cut his tendon on the fence. He? now has a permanent limp, and cant do any serious work. He is happy now though, and was rescued by my riding instructor.
