I think Mally is a ... By: wedbejazzin. on 19 Feb 12, 23:11:50 I think Mally is a bit too spooky to be lunged with draw reins right now. Maybe when you have her steady walk/trot/canter at the lunger, then I'd introduce them. But if she isn't going steady, it's no use to add to her training.
As well, the draw reins are still too loose. Even with her head held high, there? is a lot of slack on them. They are just dangling and useless.

Also you shouldn't lunge her with saddle one with draw reins, try it without :P just let the draw reins hang on? her back, loop them through your bit or halter then just tighten the draw reins by tying a knot..if you like I can link you a video :)

They need to be? tighter if shes gonna be that spooky :)

Also when spinning? the rope to move her but, that is used to make the horse ignore it and stand still, so when you do that you cant give up and move to the next thing. You need to do it until she listens and stands still
