You might want to look into BK 7, especially if you have lots of credit card debt. You will have to qualify for a 7, which impacts credit for 10 years (income test determines if you qualify). If you make too much, then you can do a 13 (repay you debt over time 3-5 years), effects credit for 7 years.
Know you rights! Don't get screwed. File if you have to. Its your right!

Note to all people who are about go get their homes forclosed: Sell everything! As much as you can! Take out the toilet, lights, windows, faucets etc. to stick it to the banks! I don't give two shits if another person is moving in. It's YOUR house! Hell you don't even have to sell those things! Just take them out and throw it out! Don't leave the precious things behind so the new owners can use it while your living in the streets!
