No one has proof of ownership in many homes. People being foreclosed on need to get? a lawyer if they feel they have been wronged. I do agree with the poster of this video. Prices are low in some areas and if you do finance the rates are at historic lows. A house is just a house but a home is where you make it.

You could also try Chapter 13 bankruptcy and claim that the mortgage? is an unsecured debt. Let the bank prove otherwise by showing the original note and the perfected chain of title. File a Quiet Title lawsuit with a Lis Pendens as well if you want to be really combative.
Forget about modifications and this repurchase crap. Stop paying the mortgage! They messed up.
