Seeing that the Somali govt is highly corrupt and incapable of patrolling the Somali coast, which fishing grounds are being depleted by Western and Asian counties, and which countries are also dumping toxic and nuclear waste in the same waters, I can't blame those former Somali fishermen for going into the pirate business--privateers are still captains of Western economies, as the Somalis learned on their coast.
