motivation is key ... By: HeavyUSA. on 29 Aug 11, 16:13:30 motivation is key for any project or goal that you take on. I commend you for your weight loss and I know what it is like to loose or take off that lass 30 pounds that someone is gunning to remove.? Thank you for your story.
Right now I'm ... By: StrawberyCheeseKAKE. on 23 Jul 11, 07:17:41 Right now I'm changing my way of? eating so I can lose weight. I was at a weight of 215 pounds and am now 193 because I'm eating more veggies and fruits. Seeing someone else lose so much weight and staying healthy helps keep me motivated to reach my goal of being 125 pounds at 5'3". Thank you for being an inspiration :)
And one last thing. ... By: LilDP. on 21 Jul 11, 22:55:48 And one last thing. Sorry for the long response, but your response got me fired up and needed a very thorough response. There were too many things wrong with your response, for me? to let it slide. In hindsight I probably should have just sent it in message form rather than comment form, but at least you got the message.
@katesofly @LilDP ... By: LilDP. on 21 Jul 11, 22:53:55 @katesofly @LilDP And let me address my contradiction. I do exercise (a bit infrequently) now and eat a little healthier, and I'm starting to gain a little weight, but I still have a low BMI. I used to be around 125 with? a height of around 5 ft 9" which is 18.5. This was back when I only ate cheeseburgers, hotdogs and sphaghetti. Now I have a BMI of 19.1. So when I say BMI is an inaccurate way of measuring health I mean it's a SERIOUSLY inaccurate way of measuring health.
And like I said ... By: LilDP. on 21 Jul 11, 22:33:48 And like I said before as a skinny MAN, it pisses me off when people get pissed at other skinny people for no reason. I get comments on my weight all the time, and they aren't positive. People assume I'm a bit on the skinner side because I don't eat or don't exercise.? It's just the way my body is. It's like a double standard. Only big people should be ok with the way they look, but if your skinny, you're anorexic and need to eat more? Oh and btw she's 5 ft 7" and 122 lbs. BMI: 19.1
Civilization prior ... By: LilDP. on 21 Jul 11, 22:21:54 Civilization prior to the age of advertisement and entertainment never had this? problem. There were no people sitting watching TV and movies and playing videogames and lazying about, doing nothing. They had no manufactured or fast food to eat. They had to do the work in the fields to gain their natural foods. They were not malnourished. Weight was not a problem for them. Now in this new age, we need to "artificially" keep healthy. We must take walks, go to the gym and eat right.
People complain ... By: LilDP. on 21 Jul 11, 22:17:45 People complain about our culture's obsession with looking good, but if you look around us this is clearly not the case. Americans are growing, and I'm not talking about their bank accounts. There is a clear difference between being ok with who you are as a person, naturally being a little bulky or a little scrawny? but still being healthy, and being ok with eating too much and being lazy as fuck in general.
Oh and by the way ... By: LilDP. on 21 Jul 11, 22:06:37 Oh and by the way I'm super skinny, never work out, and eat all I want, but I'm still "underweight" by BMI's? standards. Took another test and found out I have more fat on my bones than muscle. Sometimes it's not always about how much you weigh, but how healthy you are.
Your right, it's ok ... By: LilDP. on 21 Jul 11, 22:01:04 Your right, it's ok to be a couch potato, wasting you're life and never contributing anything to society, eating more than your weight in food. That's perfectly alright, right? Because it's totally ok. You should love yourself no? matter how useless to society you are. It's ok. You're ok, I'm ok, we're all ok right? Tch...and I'm the poison. Gtfo of here.

18.5 BMI is NOT ... By: LilDP. on 21 Jul 11, 00:51:53 18.5 BMI is NOT that bad nor is it underweight. 18.5 is classified as the bottom end normal weight. Not only that, but BMI is notorious for its inaccuracy. It is only an estimation. And on top of all this, she lost the weight by exercising and eating right, which is completely alright. So yes, we should applaud her. Quit being a hater and a? downer.
