@ExcelIsFun Hi Mike ... By: GY1314able. on 06 Mar 11, 06:01:00 @ExcelIsFun Hi Mike, data areas are all in one sheet? and are of the same range/dimension. It is just like 5 rows and 10 columns for region 1, 5 rows and 10 columns for region 2 etc for all 32 regions. Those data areas are not joint though with one row in between and I defined a name to those data ranges by dragging border lines for each of those 32 data ranges, so name box would do the comma separation for me. I might give it another try. Thanks a lot Mike for your tips.

I just tried a formula (experiment to test) with 32 areas, and it worked. Although I have never used 32 tables before, it seems? to be working in my test. Are you sure that you 1) enclosed the ranges in parenthesis, 2) each are is the same dimensions, 3) and you separated the ranges by commas?

Thank you? heaps for your great vids. I've been using the index function I learned from your tutorials for our company budgeting now and it works for me just superbly. I used the index function (the second method) to populate some massive data into my spreadsheets. However I don't seem to be able to exceed 25 or 26 data areas whilst I had like 32 data areas. I was just wondering whether you came across this situation too? Does index only allow you certain number of data areas?
