Everyday I fight with the greed that has been instilled in me since early childhood, and see that this consumerism is like something of a religion, an alternative to the Judeo/Christian God of our fathers. I fear it may be too late to get back to simpler life now. So much of this evil started with the invention of power plants that stayed on 24 hours.
