We choose? bamboo over exotic and hard woods. those trees can take 20 to 100+ years to regrow & bamboo grows fast as weeds- more sustainable and eliminates the need to cut down endangered forests. the trees cant sustain consumer goods demand like bamboo and hemp. ours are holding up very well & require no wax or coatings so no VOC's :)

I heard that you can not sand down a bamboo floor like you can wood so if a it gets scatched after a few year you can only pull it up and cut down more bamboo forest, wood floors can last 1000's of years, bamboo?
