I was recently browsing through various different banquet group photos of only women for a project and one of things that struck me was how many women between 25 and 35 are morbidly obese. I'm not making a judgment, just an observation. This, my friends is not a genetic problem. It all boils down to what we are putting in our mouths on a daily basis.

I had Cushings ... By: terrenlovesyubabii. on 08 Aug 11, 16:04:25 I had Cushings Disease 12 years ago. I am a mere 4'10" and on the day of surgery I weighed 197 in April by November I was 82 lbs. It was really a world wind of excitiement to have a diagnosis and be able to get back small. Now, I am 170 lbs and gaining, I am? scared that Cushing's is back. I have had so many surgeries since that surgery, and now I am also having seizures. I can't find an Endo. Dr to find out what is wrong again. I am exhausted and need help to get well again. Any suggestions?
Hi doctor - my ... By: kittenbombon. on 03 Aug 11, 10:59:45 Hi doctor - my sister was on high doses of prednisolone in her teen years (lupus) and she then had to have a? kidney transplant. She has now been on tacrolimus and mycophanalate for several years and has all the symptoms of cushing, including pain around the middle and lower part of the brain. My question is: Can tacrolimus and mycophanalate cause cushing, or stop it from healing? Do those drugs affect hormonal function? Very grateful for a prompt response... thank you!!
