I guess it comes from years of taking pictures and developing my own pictures.... I'm sure my GoPro will come in handy when I'm trying to teach specific techniques and showing underwater footage. To me, 1080 doesn't make that much difference for YouTube videos (780 or even 480 work fine) but uses much more storage space. Some software won't render the 1080 raw into a 1080 production. ? Don't hardly use my GoPro (you might have noticed) but might messs with it more this year. "Blending" camera footage is always fun. I usually carry at least two cameras and sometimes a camcorder; not dropping them in the lake is a priority!

I think I've changed my mind about getting a second one. I'm going to get a good main camera that shoots in1080p and use the GoPro as a "Cool Angle" camera when I'm fighting fish. That way both clips mesh together good when I edit them.

Hope you have success with your GoPro; the "fish eye" can be a bit distracting, especially if someone is using it? as a hatcam and keeps jerking their head around. However, having said that, they do really cool things and the new LCD backpack is a great breakthrough.
