I have found wide ... By: bill5074. on 14 Jun 11, 22:42:16 I have found wide gap hooks do not work well, and impede the action. I use a 2/0 or 3/0 offset Gamakatsu worm hoom hook, and it works great. You can rig it Texas style or Wacky style if that is what they want. If you want it to sink a little put a small swivel about 8-10 inches above the hook. Alsdo helps with casting distance. The motion I use with this lure is much like a walk the dog. If it is sunny or in the middle of the day or in very windy conditions, I will let thw worm slow drop with an occasional twitch. Even over deep water, fish will come? up for this lure as long as the surface of the water is relatively calm.
